Well, what a day! It seems throughout the world, people have been part of the wonderful movement that is 350.org!

In Aberystwyth, where I was, we spend the day on the beach by the bandstand, encouraging people to write climate pledges on flags, which were then made into a 350 shape at 3:50pm! There was quite a bit of participation, and I would personally like to thank the lot of students from Aberystwyth University who helped us organize the day (and, of course, Anna!).

In north Wales, a group of people decided (for some strange reason) to climb Snowdon (3,500ft -  do you notice a trend appearing here?) and encircle the peak. I understand many had to turn back because of bad weather, but well done everyone who made it up there! Here’s a video of the day’s action:

There will be photos up on here soon, so stay tuned! Also, if you just happen to be in New York around about now, keep watching the big screen in Times Square – you might just see a few Welsh young people campaigning over climate change…
