A message from the Welsh Assembly Governmen:
Do you believe young people should have a say in Wales?
We are looking for 6 enthusiastic young people aged 14-18 from across Wales to become Climate Change Champions for 2010.
A Champion will be a spokesperson on climate change in Wales. You will show people in your local area and across Wales how everyone can play their part in helping Wales reduce its carbon footprint.
You will be asked to speak to a range of audiences through internet blogs, writing your own newspaper columns, and television and radio interviews. You will be part of the Climate Change Commission for Wales, and also take part in events such as the Royal Welsh show.
We will provide you with the support you will need, including mentors and media training. We will give you climate change information to help along the way, but ultimately you will speak with your own voice.
This is a big commitment for you and your family for a year, but the rewards are just as great.
